Summary:
Nine specialist bikes were worth £30,000 have been stolen from the National Mountain Bike Championships. The bikes were stolen between Saturday night and Sunday morning at the event in Margram Park near Port Talbot. The championship was held at the park on the bank holiday weekend. The police await information of any where about of the bikes. All the victims that were visited at the events were not what they expected to go home without their bikes. The police claim that this event has been targeted by a Group organized thieves.
Evaluation:
This article caught my eyes because you rarely here things like these happen to a championship event for bikes. Who would steal a bike? Events like these should have security all over even looking after the bikes. I think this was an inside job because no one knows where the bikes are. The police should investigate all members for this matter. Not much I can say about this article but I assume that these bikes that are worth £30,000 are worth reselling them for double the price on EBay.
